• Heat Resistance: Low — softens around 55-60°C
• Layer Adhesion: Excellent
• Surface Finish: Outstanding — flat matte, hides layer lines
• Odour: Very low
Best for:
• Display models where layer lines would distract
• Architectural and product prototypes
• Cosplay props and miniatures
• Premium-looking functional parts
Not ideal for:
• Parts exposed to heat or direct sunlight
• High-stress mechanical components
• Applications needing a glossy finish

Matte PLA contains additives that are slightly abrasive — a hardened nozzle isn't required but will extend nozzle life if printed heavily.
