Material info
Properties:
• Flexibility: Very high — soft and squishy
• Strength: Excellent — tear and abrasion resistant
• Impact Absorption: Outstanding — better than 95A for damping
• Heat Resistance: Moderate — up to ~75-80°C
• Layer Adhesion: Very strong
• Surface Finish: Slightly matte, soft rubbery feel
• Shore Hardness: 90A (softer end of flexible)
Best for:
• Soft grips and ergonomic handles
• Vibration isolation and shock pads
• Cushioned protective sleeves
• Soft toy parts and squishy objects
• Living hinges with high flex
Not ideal for:
• Bowden-tube setups (too soft to push reliably)
• Rigid structural parts
• Fine-detail prints
• Fast printing — softer TPU is slower to print well
Print settings
| Nozzle temperature | 215-235°C |
|---|---|
| Bed temperature | 40-50°C |
| Print speed | 15-25 mm/s |
| Cooling fan | 50-100% |
| Retraction | 0-0.5mm — practically disabled |
| Flow rate | 100-105% |
| Layer height | 0.16-0.24mm |
Slower than 95A — softer filament needs more time to extrude cleanly. Direct drive is essentially mandatory at this hardness.
