Material info
Properties:
• Flexibility: High — firm rubber-band feel
• Strength: Excellent — extremely tear and abrasion resistant
• Impact Resistance: Outstanding — absorbs and bounces back
• Chemical Resistance: Very good — resists oils, greases, many solvents
• Heat Resistance: Moderate — up to ~80°C
• Layer Adhesion: Very strong
• Surface Finish: Slightly matte, rubbery texture
• Shore Hardness: 95A (firmer end of flexible)
Best for:
• Phone cases and protective covers
• Vibration dampeners and shock mounts
• Wheels and tyres for RC vehicles
• Gaskets, seals, and grips
• Wearables — watch bands, soft straps
Not ideal for:
• Rigid structural parts (use PLA/PETG/ABS instead)
• Bowden-tube printers — direct drive strongly recommended
• Fine-detail prints (flexible material rounds sharp edges)
Print settings
| Nozzle temperature | 215-230°C |
|---|---|
| Bed temperature | 40-50°C |
| Print speed | 20-30 mm/s |
| Cooling fan | 50-100% |
| Retraction | 0.5-1mm — minimal to avoid jams |
| Flow rate | 100-105% |
| Layer height | 0.16-0.24mm |
Direct-drive extruder strongly recommended. Print slow — TPU will buckle if pushed too fast. Sticks well to most surfaces with no special prep.
